The initiators and organizers of the major classic car and motor festival "Classic Days" at Schloss Dyck in the Rhineland have now also had to pull the emergency brake. The 15th edition of the Classic Days planned for July 31 to August 2, 2020 will not take place and will be postponed to next year, more precisely to the weekend of August 6 to 8, 2021.
The organizers explain:
"Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the uncertainty is too great for reliable planning and implementation of the Classics Festival. According to the Federal-State Conference, major events are not permitted until August 31. Social responsibility and concern for the health of all those involved have top priority. It is therefore with a heavy heart that the organizer cooperation Classic Days & Stiftung Schloss Dyck, the Classic Days e.V. as well as partners and sponsors have decided to hold the Classic Days in 2021 in the usual size and variety."
