The auction is called "Garden Party In Saint-Tropez" and the sale of the 90 cars, six motorcycles and a good three dozen automobiles from neon signs to racing suits and pinball machines on June 28, 2025 should also feel like a party.
Few French cars
The 96 vehicles are on average 43 years old.
The cars are dominated by the brands Mercedes-Benz (12 cars), Porsche (12), Ferrari (u), Aston Martin (5) and BMW (5).
French brands are clearly underrepresented in Saint-Tropez; in addition to three Alpine cars, there are two Citroën and two Renault cars and one each from Delahaye, Bugatti, Simca, Talbot-Lago and Peugeot.
On average, the vehicles were valued at EUR 231,141, with Ferrari (average EUR 787,500) and Aston Martin (EUR 1,020,000) standing out in terms of value.
Incidentally, a third of the vehicles will go under the hammer without a reserve price.
Collector Ferrari 250 GT/L and 275 GTB
Two Ferraris can be found at the top of the Estimate Top Ten.
There is an extensively restored Ferrari 250 GT Lusso from 1963, which is looking for a new owner for EUR 1.2 to 1.5 million.
A Ferrari 275 GTB from 1965 is expected to be even more expensive, with a documented estimate of EUR 2.2 to 2.6 million.
Even more exclusive is the Aston Martin Valkyrie, which is just over two years old and was built in 2022. With just over 1500 km on board, a sales price of EUR 2.9 to 3.4 million is expected.
Many super classics
There will be no shortage of so-called "blue chip" classics in the south of France.
There is an Aston Martin DB4 from 1961 (EUR 180,000 to 280,000) or a right-hand drive Volante Mk 1 (EUR 490,000 to 690,000).
In addition to the Ferrari already mentioned, there is also a 250 GT Boano, a 250 GT Pininfarina and a white Testarossa from 1987 (EUR 200,000 to 260,000) up for auction.
A Diablo VT, an LM002 and a Gallardo from Lamborghini come under the hammer.
Two Lancia Aurelia and a Flaminia represent the Lancia colors alongside a Delta Integrale as a WRC replica.
From Mercedes-Benz, there is of course the obligatory 300 SL Roadster as a 1959 example (EUR 1 to 1.2 million), but also a 190 SL, a 600, a 350 SL and a Pagoda.
There are also many collector's cars from Porsche for sale, including two 356s, several original 911s and a 964 Carrera RS.
Young blood
Of course, the neoclassics are not missing at Artcurial either. Whether Porsche 911 S/T (model year 2024), Alpine A110 R (203) or Ford GT Studio Collection 82021), the cars come with few kilometers and high estimated values.
Interesting exotics
Those looking for the unusual may also find what they are looking for in Saint-Tropez.
For example, there is a Mini Moke from 1987 for sale (EUR 20,000 to 30,000).
The Iveco Terramare from 2010 is certainly also very unorthodox. As an amphibious vehicle, it is also suitable for the way to the yacht in the Mediterranean and is said to cost EUR 50,000 to 80,000.
Artcurial has set a price of EUR 30,000 to 40,000 for a Honda S600.
A Lea Francis 2.5 L Sports Deluxe from 1950 is listed at EUR 45,000 to 65,000.
A 1972 Mirage Dune Buggy car is expected to elicit EUR 25,000 to 35,000 from bidders.
And a Ligier JS8 from 1983 is available for little money (EUR 6000 to 8000).
Of course, you can also buy some beautiful special bodies based on Delahaye, Talbot-Lago or Lancia from Artcurial. And rally cars, including a Subaru Impreza S10 Prodrive from 2004, are also on offer.
So there is certainly no lack of choice at Artcurial's garden party, more about the vehicles and more pictures can be found on the auction house's website.
