The residents of Lebenshilfe Berchtesgadener Land, especially those in the residential homes, are experiencing an extremely difficult and stressful time due to the coronavirus crisis. They have not been allowed to leave their homes, and in some cases their rooms, for weeks and will not be able to take part in any of their usual leisure or vacation activities for the whole year.
Donations despite race postponement
Due to the coronavirus-related postponement of the Rossfeld race until 2021, Joachim Althammer currently has no opportunity to collect donations for Lebenshilfe with his event, which is why he gratefully took up an idea from a friend: Althammer is organizing a charity auction for the dormitory residents and the proceeds will be used entirely for various leisure and vacation activities in 2021 - without any deductions or fees, because everyone involved is helping out free of charge.
Very special experiences
The main donor wishes to remain anonymous and has provided two fascinating motorcycles: a never-before-used 2006 Buell XBRR and a completely original Harley Davidson F 1922.
There will also be great automotive exhibits (including an original painting by Hendrik Müller and a painted BMW M1 hood) and two very special experiences made possible with the help of two of Germany's most popular motorsport drivers:
Firstly, a ride with Walter Röhrl on September 25, 2021 as part of the Rossfeldrennen, combined with a feel-good weekend at the Hotel Kempinski and VIP tickets for two people. Secondly, a whole day (on August 13, 2020) with Hans-Joachim "Strietzel" Stuck at the Salzburgring.
The exhibits will be on display from June 9, 2020 at the Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk in Anger and the online auction will be held by the renowned auction house Lankes on July 4, 2020. The auction will be hosted by Martin Utberg from Top Speed TV.
Detailed information, a print catalog and the registration form can be found on the auction house's website.
