The"Lignières Historique" circuit race, a regularity test for historic sports and racing cars, is held in an exceptional and unique setting in Switzerland.
The event with international significance is listed in the Auto Sport Switzerland (ASS) racing calendar and is intended to commemorate the past of the Lignières driving training center. With the roar of old engines and the typical smells of motor racing, you can let your nostalgia run free.

The event is organized as a regularity and sprint test for historic vehicles - racing cars, sports cars and motorcycles - on the Lignières circuit, the only one of its kind in Switzerland.

The registration fees are modest and amount to CHF 480 for cars and CHF 240 for motorcycles.
In the three disciplines Sport, Sprint and Special
The "Lignières Historique" is held in three disciplines: Sport, Sprint and Special.
The Lignières Historique "Sport" is a regularity test. The smallest time difference between any two laps counts.
In the Lignières Historique "Sprint", the fastest lap counts.
The Lignières Historique "Special" are demonstration runs without timekeeping and ranking. (License-free)
A powerful experience for drivers and spectators
Tens of thousands of spectators were fascinated by the thrilling races and the unique atmosphere on this circuit in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
Lignières Historique is building on the eventful history of this circuit and making it an experience for everyone - for racing drivers, spectators and, of course, for the friends and fans who associate this "circuit" with very personal emotions.
Inaugurated as a race track 52 years ago
The Lignières circuit was inaugurated on September 14, 1961. In 1963, the Federal Department of Justice and Police issued a provisional permit to hold car and motorcycle races. Numerous events and races were subsequently held on Switzerland's only race track.
In 2003, the TCS signed a contract to use the track for driving and road safety courses. From 2004 to 2009, the facility was completely renovated by the TCS subsidiary Test & Training tcs AG (now TCS Training & Events AG) and reopened in 2012.
You can register directly online. Further information can be found on the event website.
