The classic car season has begun. There is hardly a weekend without an event taking place somewhere. In garages and hobby workshops, vintage and classic cars are awakened from hibernation. Often, however, you realize that there is still a lot to tinker with and screw on.
Big crowd
The spring Veterama at the start of the season on April 5-7, 2019 at the Hockenheimring has therefore long since become the most important date in the classic car scene. All dealer spaces have been fully booked for weeks. The waiting list was quickly filled and space had to be created for more vendors. For this reason, the tried-and-tested marketplace was relocated near the main entrance, thus expanding Field 9 by hundreds of units.
The marketplace offers a large selection of vintage and classic cars and is already well filled.
Entertainment and information too
In the Veterama Show Arena, visitors can present their classic cars to the public and perhaps win a trophy for their beautiful piece.
In Hall 2, Michael Bartels will be exhibiting a selection of his racing cars, recreating a kind of pit scene.
Many established classic and vintage car clubs set up their stands in Hall 2 and offer a seat in the Club Lounge for petrolhead discussions.
Services and catering
At the Veterama Service Depot in the Dekra Box, you can store purchased parts free of charge and then enjoy the Veterama flair without the hassle.
In the Veterama marquee in Field 1, you can relax with food and drink before setting off again on your long journey through the rows of Veterama dealers.
Seek and ye shall find ...
As a Veterama visitor once said "if you can't find anything here, you don't need anything".
A large camping area directly opposite the main entrance offers the opportunity for a whole Veterama weekend in your own caravan or motorhome.
Historic shuttle buses take visitors from the parking lot to the Veterama ticket offices for a small fee.
The premium ticket for three days allows visitors to go bargain hunting as early as Friday.
More information can be found on the Veterama website.
