The ADAC Hockenheim Historic, which is held in honor of racing legend Jim Clark, is one of the highlights of the historic motorsport calendar and will take place from 9 to 11 May 2025. This weekend, the Hockenheimring will once again be transformed into a Mecca for classic car and motorsport enthusiasts, who can expect top-class series.
Pure racing
First-class racing series such as the Masters Racing Legends, the "Golden Era" touring cars, the Historic Racecar Association, the Lurani Trophy, the Touring Car Revival and the Prototype Cup Germany can be experienced.
In addition to the races, there will be a varied supporting program for the whole family, with highlights including the "German Museum Route" with exhibits from historic motorsport museums and guided tours of the Jim Clark Memorial. On Saturday evening, visitors are invited to the popular get-together with live music.
The numerous food trucks will also cater for visitors' physical well-being, or they can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with a traditional Weisswurst breakfast in the VIP box in the East Stand.
Lurani Trophy
The Formula Junior Historic Racing Association (FJHRA) is looking forward to returning to the Hockenheimring in 2025 for the second round of the Lurani Trophy FIA International Series.
The FJHRA cars are synonymous with close and exciting racing, showcasing the evolution of single-seater racing car design from the late 1950s to the early 1960s and from front-engined to rear-engined. Racing drivers such as Jim Clark, John Surtees and Jochen Rindt drove them during this period on their way to Formula 1.
Historic F1 of the Masters Historic Racing
With the Masters Racing Legends, the Masters Le Mans 90s+, the Masters Gentlemen Drivers and the Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars, Masters Historic Racing is bringing some of the most fascinating vehicles in motorsport history to Hockenheim.
The Masters Racing Legends present an impressive selection of Formula 1 cars from the years 1966 to 1985, which were once driven by legendary drivers and bring the glorious past of motorsport's premier class back to the race track.
At the same time, the Masters Le Mans 90s+ offers an exciting mix of GT and prototype cars that have taken part in endurance races over the past three decades. This class promises exciting races and nostalgic moments for all endurance fans.
In addition to these exciting starting fields, the Masters Gentlemen Drivers combined with the Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars will compete to offer pure racing like in the good old days for GT cars before 1966.
Offer for ADAC corporate clubs
Brand Club members whose associations are affiliated to the ADAC can purchase a so-called "Brand Club Ticket" and receive a 15% discount on the regular admission prices. Visitors with the Markenclub ticket will once again have the opportunity to arrive with their classic car and present it in the Markenclub area, a special parking lot along the race track. The special brand club ticket also offers exclusive benefits such as access to the paddock, free choice of seats in the grandstands and guided tours of the Grand Prix circuit.
