Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the ADAC Heidelberg Historic 2020 will not take place. The popular classic car rally, which took place for the 25th time last year through the Kurpfalz, Odenwald and Kraichgau regions, was planned for July 9 to 11, 2020.
Fully booked event postponed
"We decided to take this step to protect everyone involved," explained Jürgen Fabry, organizer and Sports Director of ADAC Nordbaden e.V., who is responsible for the ADAC Heidelberg Historic. "We are particularly sorry for the 180 registered teams who have been looking forward to the event for months," Fabry continued.
The event was already fully booked at the end of February. The participants as well as the numerous spectators who follow the start and finish at the Technik Museum Sinsheim or the rally breaks on the Heidelberg market square and at the Audi Forum Neckarsulm up close every year can now make a note of July 8 to 10, 2021 in their calendars. This is when the 26th ADAC Heidelberg Historic is set to resume and once again take its automotive legends through the idyllic landscape in the northern part of Baden-Württemberg.
Further postponements and cancellations of motorsport and classic events organized by ADAC Nordbaden and its local clubs will be published on the ADAC website.
