For the ninth time, the town of Arbon will be the setting for a fascinating journey through the streets, waters, rails and skies of bygone eras on May 25 and 26, 2024. The program for this year's arbon classics is constantly being added to. However, the organizers can already announce various items on the program.
At arbon classics you can experience a unique mix of historic furniture. Gleaming vintage cars - from motorcycles to steam rollers - adorn the streets around Arbon, and historic ships invite you to enjoy cruises on Lake Constance. This year, the imposing "Hohentwiel", the "MS Oesterreich" and the steamboat "Seerhein" will be on hand.
Rail enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take a nostalgic trip between Arbon and Romanshorn on a steam train or travel to Arbon on the "Prestige Continental Express" in the style of the Orient Express.
Another highlight awaits visitors high up in the skies: the largest flight demonstration on the whole of Lake Constance promises breathtaking moments and makes the hearts of aircraft enthusiasts beat faster. Among other things, aircraft from the fleet of the Altenrhein Aviation Museum will be on display.
Admission to the festival site is free. However, the organizers will be selling sympathy buttons on site for 5 francs, which visitors can use to support the arbon classics financially.
