On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Triengen Airfield will once again become a gathering place for nostalgia and historic transportation. Several hundred historic vehicles, a steam train, and classic airplanes will make the annual meeting of the Friends of Nostalgic Cars an experience that extends far beyond the classic car scene.
When engines sputter in Triengen on the last Sunday in September, a steam locomotive rolls by, and historic airplanes circle the sky, it’s FNA time again. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the FNA—Friends of Nostalgic Cars—invites you to its traditional annual gathering at the Triengen airfield.
Several hundred classic cars expected
Several hundred historic vehicles of various makes and eras are expected. And it’s not all about four wheels: At regular intervals, the historic Sursee–Triengen steam train passes by the event grounds. In the air, classic aircraft and other exciting activities ensure that it’s worth looking up every now and then.
Plenty of entertainment
Entertainment on the ground will include musical performances and various club parades.
In this way, the FNA Annual Meeting brings together three worlds in one place: historic vehicles, railroad nostalgia, and classic aviation. Add to that a festival food court and plenty to discover—for classic car enthusiasts as well as families and anyone looking for an extraordinary Sunday outing.
