The NSU TTS was planned as a sports sedan and is considered the ancestor of the Golf GTI, at least in concept. Weighing just 700 kg and with 70 hp as standard, tuned to over 85 hp, the agile car was popular in hill climbs and slalom competitions.
TTS production came to an end in mid-1971. A total of 2,402 cars were produced in these five years.
