Next weekend, from December 6 to 8, 2019, Retro Classics Bavaria will open its doors for the fourth time. The event has now firmly established itself as a major platform and contact exchange for automotive enthusiasts. Interesting automobile presentations, top-class special shows and exciting scene types ensure plenty of visitor enjoyment.
Interesting special shows
Unique special shows were once again put together in 2019 - with a strong regional focus. Under the title "Historic Norisring", rare and valuable racing cars that were actively raced on the Norisring can be seen (Hall 4A). You can also marvel at the special show "30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall - rescue vehicles from the GDR", which brings a piece of GDR history to life (Hall 4).
The NSU special show (Hall 4), which is supported by NSU Walter, has the motto "Drive like a prince and be king". In Hall 3A, the Löhlein car dealership will be presenting a unique SLR - Silver Arrows of the 21st Century special show. Another special show is dedicated to agriculture from all over the world (Hall 4). Among other things, harvesting vehicles from China can be seen here.
Another highlight are three cars from the ROFGO Gulf Heritage Collection. These include a Ford GT 40, an Aston Martin GTE and a Mirage M2 V11. These vehicles have raced all over the world on various race tracks such as Le Mans and Sebring. These vehicles will be exhibited in Hall 4A.
With live auction
ClassicBid's live auctions have become an integral part of Retro Classics events. Cars will once again go under the hammer in Nuremberg. The cars can be viewed in advance at the ClassicBid stand in Hall 4. The auction starts on Saturday at 3.00 pm.
Retro Classics Bavaria will be rounded off by an entertaining supporting program with lectures, film screenings and autograph sessions. Ellen Lohr, Jochen Mass, Roland Asch and Klaus Ludwig, among others, will be available for autograph sessions. There will also be a big racing driver talk in Hall 4A on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. in the "Historic Norisring" special show area.
