What began in 1993 with 35 cars has long since established itself as the most prestigious classic car rally in our country. The places were overbooked like never before, we had to sift out and at the same time we extended the starter list to 233 cars.
Fully booked
As expected, Porsche took the largest "brand share" for the 3-day event from July 20 to 23 with 38 starting places, followed by Alfa Romeo with 22 and Mercedes Benz with 19. Exotic cars such as Alvis, Auburn, Cisitalia, Lagonda, Sbarro, Siata and Talbot give the event the status of a traveling museum.
For the 30th anniversary, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road will be driven from the south for the first time.
Again with Racecar Trophy: Green light for free driving
On the occasion of the 30th Ennstal-Classic from 20 to 23 July, the Racecar-Trophy will once again be organized as a parallel competition. The aim here is to experience pure driving fun with thoroughbred racing and rally cars at various venues. In contrast to the Ennstal Classic, you choose your own reference times on the closed tracks. For the first time, the year of construction limit will be set so that modern supercars can also take part.
There are four categories:
- Racing cars built up to 1995
- Gran Turismo up to 1995
- Rally cars up to 1995
- Super Cars from 1995 to 2022
Registration deadline for the Racecar Trophy is March 31, 2022!
The venues are:
1) ÖAMTC Experience Center Gut Brandlhof in Saalfelden.
2) Tauplitzalm mountain test,
3) Alpine airfield Niederöblarn

"Driving in the last paradise" is the motto of the Ennstal-Classic and the organizers Michael Glöckner and Helmut Zwickl are very pleased that despite these uncertain times, the run on the limited starting places for this unique adventure was so great!
Every year, the best-known opinion leaders from the worlds of business, sport, culture and politics mobilize around 100,000 spectators along the route and in the stage towns. Around 10,000 spectators are expected at the Porsche Design Grand Prix in Gröbming on July 23 alone.
