For two decades, the participants of the WinterRAID have set off from the Engadin into the snow flurries of the Alpine passes. For the 20th anniversary, some things will be different - but by no means less spectacular.
The start is on January 17, 2024 in autobau Romanshorn, then it's off through the Allgäu and Tyrol to the Seefeld area (AT). On the next day, the route leads across the Tauern Alps to Carinthia for the first time. The third day brings the round trip through Slovenia, a major premiere. On the last day of the rally, the passes of the Dolomites follow - in keeping with tradition. The WinterRAID finishes in Bolzano in South Tyrol on January 20. If desired, there will be an accompanied return trip from Bolzano to St. Moritz on January 21.
The participants will experience ice and snow, mountain passes and magnificent winter landscapes in four different countries. In total, the historic cars will cover over 1300 km. The myth lives on!
For the past 20 years, the WinterRAID has also had a special women's classification, in which only women's teams compete for the Ladies' Cup.
And to encourage young drivers to take part, the RAID has been offering a special discount for drivers and co-drivers up to the age of 35 for over 20 years.
Cars built up to 1994 are permitted to take part in this large and traditional rally. For the Youngtimers category, cars up to 2004 are eligible.
Entry deadline is November 30, 2023.
