The anniversary of the Arosa ClassicCar is fast approaching. From August 29 to September 1, 2024, the classic car engines will roar in the Graubünden mountain village for the 20th time. Since 2005, the hill climb for historic sports and racing cars has attracted around 200 fascinating classic cars to Arosa every year.
This year's event has over 240 entries - a new record in the history of the Arosa ClassicCar. The result is a starting field of extremely attractive, sometimes very unique vehicles and genuine vintage gems that will make the hearts of classic car and motorsport fans beat faster.
With lots of celebrities
Celebrities have also announced their attendance this year. Walter Röhrl, known for his incredible precision and his countless victories in the rally world, embodies the spirit of motorsport like no other and is visiting the Arosa ClassicCar as an ambassador for Porsche.
Among others, Le Mans winner Fabio Scherer will be there as a racing driver. Former professional motorcycle racers Jonas Folger, Jesko Raffin and Marcel Schrötter will provide additional highlights with a spectacular motorcycle show on Postplatz.
Versatile program
Visitors can look forward to a varied supporting program for the 20th anniversary. The traditional vehicle parade through the village opens the event on Thursday evening. On Friday evening, the Swiss rock band Megawatt will set the mood on Postplatz, followed by an impressive drone show on Obersee.
The two paddocks can also be visited on all days and the vehicles can be viewed up close. The exciting races will take place on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.
Live on site or via the livestream on Zwischengas
Spectators have the opportunity to experience the racing spectacle live at the track. With a grandstand ticket purchased in advance, visitors can use public transport throughout Switzerland free of charge to travel to and from the event. Tickets for the grandstands and VIP packages are available online.
