At the end of October, St. Gallen traditionally becomes a classic car mecca once again. When the organizers started 12 years ago in Arbon with just a few stands, they had no idea how well the fair would develop. After the fair "moved" to the exhibition grounds in St. Gallen, the exhibition space and number of exhibitors increased every year.
In the 13th edition, well over 100 exhibitors will present their products and services in 3 exhibition halls. The organizers will also be able to welcome numerous new exhibitors to the OLMA exhibition grounds this year. Renate and Peter Hürlimann, active "mechanics" themselves, attach great importance to a wide range of spare parts and restoration materials. They themselves know how difficult it is to find suitable parts for classic cars. Models, tools, care products, literature, period clothing and much more will also delight visitors.
For questions and problems with classic cars, many service providers and specialists such as restorers, engine repairers, painters, bodywork specialists, saddlers and brand specialists will once again be on hand to provide help and advice. Insurance companies, organizers of historic motorsport events and classic car hotels will also be showcasing their services. The Swiss Historic Vehicle Federation (SHVF) and several marque clubs will be presenting themselves in St. Gallen. The special exhibition is dedicated to Austin-Morris-Wolseley enthusiasts, while the Friends of Old Motorcycles and the Oldtimer Club of Eastern Switzerland will once again be showcasing fantastic exhibits and three restaurants will be inviting visitors to enjoy a chat about petrol.
Unfortunately, the city of St. Gallen has imposed strict conditions on the organizers for the parking spaces in the Olma area. The parking spaces in the arena must be booked in advance. Only classic cars with a parking permit are allowed to enter the exhibition grounds.
