History:
The highly successful A112 was produced in seven series for 17 years under the Autobianchi brand of the Fiat Group. From 1977, it was the Lancia brand that marketed the nimble small car outside Italy. This A112 from the penultimate series was first registered in Italy in November 1984. In Switzerland, the well-maintained and rarely driven example was lovingly restored with great attention to detail and converted into an Abarth Recreation. With less than 50,000 km on the clock, new brakes, new suspension, a revised cylinder head, new paintwork and new seats, this little runabout feels very sporty and almost as good as new. The FIA pass and veteran's registration were issued in 2023.
Bodywork and paintwork:
The repaint in silver metallic is in immaculate condition, the gaps and add-on parts are flawless. The non-original hood air scoop is replaced by an original part. The Abarth bumpers show slight signs of wear and are a perfect fit.
Interior:
The interior has been completely refreshed, the seats reupholstered and reupholstered with high-quality fabric/sky. Front and rear seat belts and a genuine leather sports steering wheel round off the interior. There is a recess for the radio. This can be covered so that a modern DAB+ radio can be installed while retaining the veteran look.
Engine and mechanics:
The smooth-running and unproblematic engine has very good measurement and emission values. With a mileage of just 47,000 kilometers, the mechanics are equipped for many more years of use.
Chassis:
The chassis and running gear are in very good condition, worthy of a veteran. The test bench measurements are flawless. The Abarth wheels can be replaced with the original wheels supplied if required. The mechanics have been optimally prepared for the FIA pass and the veteran's test.
