The Glas GT could have given the English sports cars a run for their money. However, it was almost too well and too luxuriously equipped for that and correspondingly expensive. In terms of handling and, above all, driving pleasure, however, it was in no way inferior to the British. The sedan was completely different: more powerful and more comfortable, it was more of a fast highway car than a cornering predator. This historical test report shows very well how different two cars with basically the same engine can be.
