Summary
The Brexit negotiations are making no progress and the coronavirus pandemic is claiming more victims in the UK than in almost any other country in Europe - certainly not good conditions for an auction, especially as it had to be held without an audience on site. But the results were surprisingly positive. The sales rate was 84 percent, and some vehicles were auctioned well above their estimated values. The most expensive was a Jaguar D-Type Replica, which sold for over 400,000 EUR/CHF. This auction report analyzes the results and describes the mood and procedure.

Preview (beginning of the article)
The Brexit negotiations are making no progress and the coronavirus pandemic is claiming more victims in the UK than in almost any other country in Europe, which were certainly not good conditions for an auction, especially as it naturally had to be held without an audience on site. However, the results were surprisingly positive, as the highest bids rarely reach an average of 103% of the estimated values. And a sales quota of 84 percent was also impressive. In the end, £ 4.4 million (EUR 4.95 million, CHF 5.2 million) was raised for the 87 cars, which meant an average selling price including surcharge/commission (10%) of EUR 67,746 or CHF 71,376 per car. Congratulations are in order.
