Summary
From March 21 to 31, 2022, Bonhams auctioned 78 cars worth a total of four million euros exclusively online from Paris. 97 percent of the cars were sold, thanks in part to the high "no reserve" percentage. On average, bids were higher than expected, with an MG SV-R being one of the high-flyers. Many of the cars had been parked for a long time, so Bonhams recommended recommissioning. This auction article analyzes the results and shows the vehicles in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
Bonhams held a purely online European car auction from March 21 to 31, 2022. A total of 78 cars worth just over EUR 4 million went under the virtual hammer. 96 percent of the cars were offered without a reserve price, so the keyword "sale" is probably not quite the wrong choice. On average, the cars were a little over 47 years old. Two thirds of them came from Great Britain, which was mainly due to the strongly represented brands Rolls-Royce (19 cars) and Aston-Martin (18). There were also five Jaguars, two Bentleys, Humber and Triumph, as well as one each from Daimler, Land Rover and MG. The mainland was represented by seven Mercedes-Benz, four Ferrari and Porsche as well as cars from Citroën, Maserati and Maybach. A few Americans and one Japanese completed the selection.
