Bonhams put 63 vehicles, including four motorcycles, under the hammer on June 5, 2022 at the Greenwich Concours auction around 50 km north-east of New York. 92 percent of the vehicles, worth USD 6.6 million, were sold. The most expensive was a Bentley 4 1/2 Tourer from 1929, followed by an Aston Martin DB6 Vantage and a Porsche 356 A Speedster. Bonhams offered 63 vehicles, including four motorcycles, at the Greenwich Concours auction on June 5, 2022, around 50 km north-east of New York. Together, the vehicles were worth around USD 6.6 million and were on average almost 55 years old. At 83 percent, the proportion of lots auctioned without a reserve price was very high. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in a sales rate of 92 percent, with only five cars failing to sell. On average, 84 percent of the median estimate was bid, a sign that the high no-reserve rate did not lead to a sell-out. 33 cars came from British brands, Aston Martin alone was represented with 13 sports cars, followed by Rolls-Royce with seven, Jaguar with five and Bentley with four cars. But European brands also dominated in other respects, with five Porsches, four Mercedes-Benzes, four Facel-Vega completing the European delegation, along with an Alfa, two Ferraris, a Fiat and a Jensen and a few more Brits.
