Is a popular event enough to make vehicles registered for it more valuable? At the Bonhams auction on November 5, 2021, this was certainly the case. After all, some of the pre-1905 cars sold well above expectations. In some cases, not only a vehicle over 115 years old was on offer, but also a starting place in the London-to-Brighton Run on November 7, 2021. And in some cases, a trailer was also included with the purchase (for afterwards). Rupert Banner, the auctioneer, also explained that you would certainly get an introduction to the vehicle, so that nothing would stand in the way of a start.
