Once again, Bonhams used the proximity to the London-Brighton Veteran Car Run on November 4, 2022 to bring interesting classics from the early days of motoring under the hammer. The auction was held in the auction room of the auction house on New Bond Street. In addition to the 21 four- and three-wheelers, over 100 automobiles also went under the hammer. The average age of the vehicles was almost 118 years! Apart from Ford (three times), no other brand appeared more than once. Not all cars are eligible to take part in the London-Brighton Veteran Car Run, but some are. Nevertheless, the expected prices were high at an average of GBP 105,929.
