Ennstal Classic 2011 - 904.52 km marathon for man and machine
Summary
The 19th Ennstal Classic was held between July 13 and 16, 2011. 225 participants battled for hundredths of a second and crossed the beautiful landscape around Grödming in Austria. The rally was won by father and daughter Alois/Birgit Heidenbauer in the beautiful yellow Dino 246 GT from 1971, followed by the duo Reinhard and Doris Huemer in the 72 Dino 246 GT. Third place went to Karsten and Monika Wohlenberger in a 1964 Mercedes Benz 230 SL.

Austria is in a state of upheaval, the national anthem is to be adapted to the growing importance of women in the political and economic environment, the school vacations are to be shortened in favor of the autumn vacations, at least that's what the radio is saying. Only the Ennstal Classic is constant, it has been held for the 19th time. It has grown over time and has blossomed into one of thetop events in Europe. Between July 13th and 16th, 2011, another 225 tireless riders came together to find the most consistent and precise, the one who could cover the 904.52 km with the least deviation from the target times and average speeds.
