Barn finds do not always have to be forgotten Lamborghini Miura or an old Bugatti. Much more frequently, less exotic vehicles were probably parked when they were no longer in use. When Thomas Fischer heard from his colleagues about a Triumph that had been parked for years, he pricked up his ears. When he saw the first photos, however, it quickly became clear that the barn find was not a Triumph, despite the sticker on the rear, but a Volvo P1800. However, this did not make the car, which had been standing idle for years, any less interesting - on the contrary. Initial research revealed that the 1968 coupé was deregistered in 1997. The last highway sticker on the windshield dates back to 1996, the year before the Volvo was last inspected by the road traffic office.
