Photo Gallery «Peugeot 204 Coupé - the (French) spice lies in brevity»
Peugeot broke new technical ground in 1965 with the 204 model, but was at least able to benefit from role models. The design was based on the proven partner Pininfarina. The result was convincing both as a saloon and as a coupé/convertible, but was comparatively expensive. The technical innovation still pays off today, because even 50 years later, the two-door coupé still looks modern and practical. This driving report is about an early 204 Coupé from 1968 and shows it in historical pictures, supplemented by a brochure and historical photos.
