It doesn't fit. It didn't fit and it won't fit. How on earth am I, at 1.83 meters long, supposed to fold myself into a car whose left wing mirror barely tickles the back of my knee? Even with an MG Midget, it's acrobatic. On the other hand, Marcos creator Dennis Adams was 1.95 meters tall. And the good man certainly wouldn't have designed a car that he couldn't fit into himself. So let's give it a try - through the door. Although it might even be easier to glide through the sunroof from above. Once you're in, it even works. The only problem is getting there, because you have to practically roll over the sill with your ears between your knees until ... plop! Behind the door frame, without warning, you drop 15 centimeters into one of the most bucket seats of the sixties. And now I'm lying here, crammed between a transmission tunnel up to shoulder height and a window edge at the level of the tip of my chin, feeling for the pedals with my feet. I use a rotary wheel to the left of the steering wheel to bring them closer to me, as the seat is firmly embedded in the floor "plate" and cannot be moved.
