Summary
Only 521 of them were built and yet the Lancia Aurelia B24S Cabriolet is well known, not least from countless films in which stars and starlets have soaked up the sun in its two seats. This driving report describes the history of the model, portrays a B24S from 1956 and shows it in historical and current images as well as in the sales brochure.

The Lancia Aurelia can be seen as a joint design by Vittorio Jano and Francesco De Virgilio. The first prototypes were already in production before the Second World War, but it was only after the interruption caused by the war that the saloon, which was presented in 1950, took on its final shape in terms of form and technology.
