Photo Gallery «Glas 3000 V8 Coupé - elegant double-four GT from Dingolfing»
The Glas V8 coupé was intended to be cheaper than the competition from Italy and Germany and at the same time support the young Glas car company's drive to move "upmarket". A completely new car with a V8 engine and Italian-influenced bodywork by Pietro Frua placed the car in sight of Maserati and other GT brands. But there was a lack of money and stamina. No more than 800 examples were built between 1965 and 1968. This extensively illustrated driving report shows how this rarity drives and what there is to know about it. And you can also listen to the car!
