Fiat vs. VW vs. DKW in the hobby Super Test - chase over Alpine passes
Summary
DKW vs. Fiat vs. VW - this is the title of the third hobby super test. The third edition of this popular test series chases the aforementioned vehicles with the maximum permissible load weight over a total of 25 mountain passes. Of course, crazy experiments, as they can only come from the hobby testers, are not missing here either... A subsequent dissection of the vehicles and a comprehensive evaluation are of course also included.

Our idea of super tests with purchased cars still seems to annoy various people who would have liked to have had this idea before us. So it was particularly amusing that shortly before we started our 3rd hobby Super Test, we read in a German magazine the certainly not kindly meant sigh of relief: "hobby no longer buys test cars!". Mind you, we left that behind at the moment when we boarded the three brand-new competitors of our 3rd hobby super test for the big ride on the Alpine pass carousel. Who could blame us for not being able to suppress a grin? Perhaps you will be surprised that, contrary to previous hobby Supertest conventions, this time there are three instead of two competitors. When we realized that the next test candidates should be in the VW class, it was obvious that the VW had to be included. In the search for the real competitors with the widest distribution, Fiat Europa and DKW F 12 came so naturally that we didn't want to leave either of them out. And because all good things come in threes, we have also decided to publish this 3rd Super Test with three cars in three parts. This was in response to a request from our readers, as well as an urgent request from our testers, who now had the opportunity to carry out a few tests that had long been close to their hearts.
