It must seem all the more grotesque to the thinking person that this means of transportation is increasingly becoming a dressmaker's dummy for fashionable gimmicks. For decades now, the service life of a modern car can be estimated to be at least 100,000 kilometers. With sensible use, almost every car can achieve a 'lifespan' of 10 to 15 years. That is how long it can fulfill its purpose and retain its value.
