In addition to the report on the vehicle, with this specific model of the Corvette one cannot avoid putting the people behind the vehicle in the spotlight, as their influence on the entire project is not insignificant. Hanna has dedicated his life to Chevrolet Corvettes. After working in the hobby for over 20 years and restoring three 1957 Corvettes, he felt the urge to "do something different" in 1990. His vision was to build a Corvette entirely according to his own ideas - or rather to put it on its wheels. His car was to be a fusion of the various characteristics of the cars of his racing idols and so-called custom specials. One of these role models was the Corvette C1. To achieve this, he teamed up with designer Mike Stockdales from the Automotive Design Center in Poznan, Illinois. It was thanks to this partnership that the idea of the "Chevrolet Corvette SRIII" could become a reality. Together they developed a tubular steel frame that is compatible with the suspension, steering, brakes and drive unit of the Corvette C4.
