Škoda 1200 with all-steel body from the wind tunnel 70 years ago

On July 11, 1952, the first series-produced Škoda 1200 Sedan rolled off the production line in Mladá Boleslav, the brand's first model with an all-steel body. The pontoon body allowed plenty of space in the interior for passengers and luggage. It received its finishing touches in the wind tunnel in Prague-Letňany. By 1961, 67,071 Škoda 1200/1201 passenger cars and commercial vehicles had been produced.
