It was exciting right to the end: In March and April 2023, a good 3000 classic car and youngtimer enthusiasts in Switzerland voted for their favorite models.
In the small car category, the Peugeot 205 won by a clear margin (44% of votes). The Jaguar XJ won the saloon category and the BMW 850i won the coupé category. The most popular convertible was the BMW Z3 (14% of votes), albeit only by a narrow margin, followed by the Mazda MX-5 (13%), Ferrari F 355 Spider (13%) and Lotus Elise (12%). There was also a neck-and-neck race in the super sports car category, with the Lamborghini Diablo ultimately winning with 17% of the vote ahead of the McLaren F1 with 16%. In the SUV and off-road vehicle group, the Range Rover was the clear winner with 23% of the votes.
Owners of the winning models wanted
Do you own one of the winning vehicles? Would you like to present it at the Swiss Classic World from June 2 to 4, 2023 in Lucerne at the Zwischengas and Swiss-Classics Revue stand?
Then please register your vehicle here by May 16. As a thank you, you will receive four free tickets to the trade fair and, with a bit of luck, a portrait of your vehicle on zwischengas.com.
An important piece of advice: Vehicles from Switzerland will have an easier time, as they are not subject to complex customs regulations for exhibition at a trade fair.
Swiss Classic World and Zwischengas would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition and cast their vote. The winners of the competition will also be determined and announced during Swiss Classic World in Lucerne on Sunday, June 4. Each winner will also be contacted in writing by e-mail.
We would also like to thank two important partners for their support for the first Swiss Youngtimer election, AMAG / Synhelion and TSM Insurance.
