The concept of the first VP Bank Rally in 2019 inspired the participants. Accordingly, the organizations (RAID and VP Bank) want to offer something unforgettable in 2020 as well.
The second VP Bank Rally by RAID will take place on June 12-14, 2020. The specialists from the RAID organization have designed a course that leads from Bad Ragaz along completely new and beautiful routes through fascinating areas of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Three days
The rally begins after check-in at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz on June 12, 2020 with an opening party from 20:00. Before that, there will be technical scrutineering, a driver briefing and welcome drinks.
Saturday, June 13 is the first day of the rally. The rally will take place over the Albula and Flüela passes, which are suitable for classic cars.
On Sunday, June 14, the journey then leads through truly picture-book landscapes in eastern Switzerland to the day's destination, the new Altenrhein Aviation and Driving Museum.
Driving according to the road book
As befits a proper classic car rally, there are also special stages. Driving is based on a road book and judged according to scratch regulations: the driver who collects the fewest penalty points is the winner. There are numerous prizes to be won.
A team classification is also planned and both a breakdown service and an emergency doctor are available on site.
Cars built up to 1990 are permitted to take part, but younger vehicles may also be accepted as an exception, in which case a handicap rule applies.
Registration is open until April 15, 2020 and further information can be found on the RAID website.
