Not every organizer of a historic classic car racing event can look back on a 15-year history, but the hill climb from Langwies to Arosa can. And is in the best of health.
The unique race track, which is almost eight kilometers long and has 76 bends, certainly plays a large part in its success. And the 1.2 km long descent in the middle of the track is just one of them.
However, it is always the beautiful and fast racing cars that thrill the spectators at the side of the track. Whether Formula 2 Martini, Morgan Three Wheeler or American La France Type 12 - the approximately 150 cars - there are also some motorcycles - offer a really nice cross-section of 100 years of racing and road sports vehicles.
In addition to the practice runs on Friday and the races on Saturday/Sunday, there will also be a village parade on Thursday evening. In addition, brave guests can book cab rides that will certainly be remembered.
Now we can only wish the event, which is so attractive every year, the best for sunny and warm weather, as we have already had enough fog, rain (and sometimes snow) in the past. But Arosa is actually known far and wide as a sunny place, so we can be optimistic!
