When this youngtimer was presented at the beginning of the 1990s, the press went into raptures: immaculate, elegant, minimalist dream; the Audi Cabriolet (Type 89) would help the Ingolstadt-based company to achieve a young, fresh image. In fact, Audi is said to have this model to thank for its coolness. On Saturday, September 19, 2020, around 100 of these convertibles will come together on the grounds of the Technik Museum Sinsheim.
On the Saturday in September, the members of Audi-Cabrio-Süd will be coming to the museum grounds for the third time to present their colorful vehicles against an impressive backdrop. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in compliance with the current situation and specifications, interested parties will have the opportunity to view and inspect these highly polished convertibles - and perhaps get some inspiration. Because from 2021, some models will already have the right to an H license plate and thus a classic car title.
Access to the event area is free of charge. More information about the meeting and registration can be found here.
