From April 24 to 26, 2026, the Hockenheimring will once again be transformed into the most important meeting place for classic car enthusiasts: Veterama Hockenheim opens its doors and heralds the start of the 2026 classic car season.
For three days, a unique world of chrome, leather, the smell of oil and emotion will be created between the pit lane, paddock and grandstands. As Europe's largest classic and modern classic car market, Veterama brings together collectors, restorers, clubs and enthusiasts from all over Europe. As befits its status, Veterama starts with the spring kick-off event.
Here we give you a little insight into the world of Veterama:
Tourist rides - Friday, April 24
The tourist drives offer the unique opportunity to experience the legendary Hockenheimring in your own vehicle. The focus is on that racetrack feeling and unforgettable laps on the traditional circuit. Safety comes first: Racing is excluded. Generous run-off areas, gravel beds, crash fences, ground-level crash barriers and tire chains guarantee a high level of safety.
Cars and motorcycles race separately in their own groups.
Speer Racing - Saturday, April 25 + Sunday, April 26
Speer Racing is one of the leading organizers of motorcycle racetrack training. The team organizes professional trackdays on renowned racetracks throughout Europe - including the Hockenheimring. Whether newcomer or experienced professional: Speer Racing offers tailor-made riding programs that perfectly combine riding fun, safety and a real racetrack atmosphere. This allows every driver to improve their skills and make effective use of their time on the track.
Veterama marketplace: the place to sell complete vehicles
The legendary Veterama marketplace is located right next to the race track and offers hundreds of vintage and classic cars for sale. A huge range of spare parts, accessories, tools, literature and automotive rarities are lined up in the paddock. It's not just about trading - it's about talking shop, reminiscing and sharing passion.
Since 1975, Veterama has stood for living automotive culture. What began as a small veteran market is now the most important platform for classic mobility in Europe. Twice a year - in spring in Hockenheim and in fall in Mannheim - history is not only shown, but experienced.
Veterama Hockenheim 2026 is therefore much more than just an event: it is a meeting place for generations, a meeting place and a living museum of mobility.
Veterama show area
This is where the heart beats for classic and vintage cars. Genuine rarities and legendary models are stylishly staged here. You can exhibit your vehicle directly on the race track.
