The pilot phase for a new type of newsletter in Switzerland, which summarizes curated transport and mobility news from the fields of politics, administration, science and business every day from Monday to Friday, has been running since April 2023. The "Emozioni" section, which usually summarizes news from the world of classic cars and youngtimers, should also be of interest to fans of old sheet metal.

Thinking mobility further
The newsletter, which lands in your mailbox every day, was initiated by TCS Zurich in the person of Andreas Häuptli, Managing Director of TCS Zurich. He realized that a well-designed newsletter was missing in the mobility sector and founded V85 without further ado.
The name: "V85" is a measured value used in traffic engineering. The value indicates the highest measured speed that is adhered to by the first 85% of road users tested.
Always stay informed
Häuptli and the TCS want to keep their finger on the pulse with their newsletter and thus contribute to orientation and classification.
The newsletter also includes the website v85.ch, where you can read the news and register to receive the ad-free email newsletter. V85 should not only be available to professional traffic developers, spatial and traffic planners, but also reach interested private individuals as well as politicians, garage owners and classic car enthusiasts.
Everything in motion
The pilot phase is planned to run until September 2023, when a review will be carried out and a decision made on how to proceed.
Häuptli explains: "Mobility is literally 'on the move'. With this newsletter, we are keeping our finger on the pulse and helping to provide orientation and classification."
Registration for the newsletter is free and can be done directly on the website with just a few clicks.
