At the turn of the year, Catawiki is once again holding an online auction of premium classic cars. You can still bid until January 2, 2023 at 9:00 pm. The cars themselves are all located in Europe, some in Italy, others in France and the Netherlands.
One of the cars on offer is a Jaguar E-Type Series 3 from 1974, which originally ran in the USA, but has been in Italy for at least 10 years and has taken part in several events. The mileage is 35'698 km, it is an automatic version. Estimated value is EUR 105'000 to 116'000.
Bids are currently at EUR 80'000.
Also for sale is a Maserati Merak 2000 GT from 1981, owned since 1991. With 57'792 km on the odometer, this car is expected to cost EUR 60'000 to 67'000.
A red Mercedes-Benz 560 SL from 1986 was estimated at EUR 32,000 to 35,500. The car has a Belgian registration, but is located in the Netherlands. The speedometer shows 147'114 miles. The interior of the SL is gray, the roof is black. Everything looks original.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer 5.9 V8 Survivor from 1987 is probably more for off-road fans. This car is also in the Netherlands and has just over 150,000 miles on the clock. It is expected to fetch EUR 30'000 to 33'000.
Another Italian is at the start with the red Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Spider from 1964. The mileage of 68,650 indicates that the car was once imported back from the USA. Since then, a lot of money has presumably flowed into the car, which now wants to be worth EUR 72,600 to 80,000. EUR 49,000 has already been offered.
In addition to the cars already mentioned, there is also a 1972 Lancia Fulvia Coupé in rally livery, a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, a 1966 Ford Mustang V8, a 1979 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and a fine 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud S1 with right-hand drive up for auction.
Lots of information and a large selection of photos can be found on the Catawiki website.
