The 3rd edition of the new Swiss RetoMecanika trade fair will take place on April 27 and 28, 2024. The previous venue in Fribourg will be replaced by Geneva, specifically the Palexpo halls at Geneva Airport.
As always, Swiss RetroMecanika will herald in the new classic car season in the best possible way for all fans of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, trucks, military machines and coaches from the past!
The new location offers a lot of comfort, good road and highway access, plenty of parking spaces in front of the doors of the exhibition without lengthy shuttles. There is also a synergy with the "Swiss Historic Vehicle Days", which the Swiss Historic Vehicle Federation SHVF organizes throughout Switzerland on the last weekend in April.
New framework for an active industry
The industry, made up of professional traders and private individuals, will find a new framework that will allow it to use a single hall of 15,000 square meters. The tables reserved for private individuals wishing to sell their old pieces will preserve the spirit of the exchanges of yesteryear.

The planned special shows will bring many of the highlights of the 20th century to life. One room will be dedicated to Geneva cars and motorcycles.
In 2024, the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings and Operation Overlord on June 6, 1944 will be celebrated, staged by a renowned collector. And more surprises are in the pipeline, including the return of the Club Show.
Parking spaces are also available for visitors arriving in vehicles over 40 years of age.
