Founded by Keith Wynn, after handing over responsibility to the new OC around Reto Defrancesco, the latter has elevated the access and positioning of the up to 1200 vehicles from Switzerland and neighboring countries to perfection. The dreaded traffic jam on the main road has always been avoided. As word of the unique atmosphere in St. Prex has spread far and wide, the organizers are expecting the 33rd edition of the event on 4 October 2025 to be at least as popular as the last two editions. For this reason, it is advisable to register online now via the corresponding website. As in previous years, thanks to generous sponsors and the support of the municipality, the meeting itself is free of charge. British vehicles 35 years and older are permitted. However, in special cases, such as younger sports cars, it is worth contacting the organizers briefly.
Big reception for the Mini and club presentations
As "Car of the Year", the classic Mini is the focus of this year's Classic British Car Meeting. However, as every year, the organizers are also trying to place other brands in groups. Clubs are also welcome, but they should have registered by June 30 so that space can be reserved accordingly.
Provided the weather cooperates at the beginning of October - the organizers and visitors have been lucky with the weather in the last two editions - the meeting in the small town on Lake Geneva is an undisputed highlight in the seasonal calendar. For visitors without their own Brits, there are not only good reasons to drive to St. Prex at the beginning of October, but also plenty of parking spaces at the gates of the town.
