Modern cars are becoming increasingly autonomous, and motorists are becoming more and more accustomed to the ever-present assistance systems. But now the classic car season has begun and many classic car owners are getting back behind the wheel of a car that has to do without modern control electronics and driving aids. To avoid getting into difficult situations on the road unprepared and to retrain almost forgotten reflexes, driving safety training geared towards classic cars is recommended.
Emil Frey Classics offers just such a training course, in which all the essentials can be learned in around four hours and practiced in a way that is gentle on the material.
Objectives of the classic car driving safety training
- Understanding the principles of driving physics
- Understanding the use of modern driving aids
- Effects if modern driving aids are missing
- Sensible handling of classic technology
The classic car driving safety training program
- Reception with a small snack (get to know each other)
- Introduction to classic car training (theory)
- Driving dynamics exercises on the track (practice)
Thanks to the course being held in exclusive small groups of up to 5 people, the individual driving dynamics of the individual classic cars (front/rear-wheel drive, with/without ABS, etc.) of the course participants can be addressed during the course.
The courses take place at the Driving Center Safenwil and cost CHF 290.00 per person. There are currently still places available on June 24, July 15, August 18 and October 27, 2021.
Further information can be found on the Emil Frey Classics website, where you can also register directly.
