To mark the 100th anniversary of the automobile in the canton of Graubünden, the international Ferrari Dino Meeting "Dino Raduno" took place in Silvaplana from June 19 to 22, 2025.
The event was organized by Daniel Bosshard, mayor of Silvaplana and passionate dinosaur enthusiast, together with the renowned dinosaur expert Matthias Bartz. Bartz, author of the standard reference work Dino Compendium and high-profile representative of the Ferrari Club Deutschland (FCD), used his expertise and network to bring the club's 20th Dino outing to the Swiss Alps.
"As enthusiastic Ferrari Dino fans, we are delighted to be able to celebrate this anniversary here in Silvaplana together with the FCD and guests from all over Europe," says Bosshard.
Classics among themselves - 60 Dino models from all over Europe
The highlight was the Concours d'Elégance on Friday, June 20, on the Plazza dal Güglia in the heart of Silvaplana. Around 60 original Ferrari Dino cars - all from the late 1960s and early 1970s - thrilled the audience with their legendary design language and mechanical elegance.
The Dino 206 GT, 246 GT and 246 GTS and their successors, the Dino 308 GT4, captivated the onlookers present, while the beautiful-sounding six and eight-cylinder engines provided the acoustic dessert. And then there was also a Dino 196 S.
The rally - three days, three passes, unforgettable impressions
On Friday, we crossed the Flüela Pass into the Bündner Herrschaft to Jenins, then on over the Lenzerheide and back over the Julier Pass.
On Saturday, the Bernina Pass was to be conquered, the journey continued through the Puschlav into the Italian Veltlin, along the picturesque Via Panoramica to Piazza Garibaldi in Sondrio and back over the Maloja Pass.
On Sunday, the program included an excursion to Celerina and a joint gondola ride up Corvatsch 3303 - with the sound of the alphorn and an aperitif on the panoramic terrace - as an atmospheric finale.
"The record number of participants in the Dino Raduno 2025 impressively shows how alive the passion for the Ferrari Dino still is after more than 50 years.
The commitment of Matthias Bartz and the Ferrari Club Germany made a decisive contribution to its success," explained Bosshard.
