From October 24, 2016 to April 17, the Pantheon Basel is showing the special exhibition Zagato, which was created in collaboration with Andrea Zagato and his famous coachwork/design company in Milan.
Around 30 vehicles from the rich oeuvre of the company, which has existed since 1919 and has created over 250 different automobiles in the last almost 100 years, are on display.
Among many others, an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Zagato from the pre-war period, Zagato variants of the Alfa Romeo Junior, the Lancia Fulvia and the Lancia Flavia, as well as an Alfa Romeo TZ1, a Fiat 132 Aster and modifications of the Aston Martin models DB4, DB7 and Virage can be seen in the Pantheon.
In addition to the vehicles, other projects from Zagato's oeuvre can also be seen in the exhibition and the electric vehicles are not neglected either.
All in all, the Pantheon special exhibition, which will be on show for six months, is likely to be the largest comprehensive exhibition of Zagato's work to date.
Adults pay CHF 10.00, children/students/seniors CHF 7.00. The opening times and further information on the exhibition can be found on the official website.
