Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the planned delegates' meeting on April 25, 2020 has had to be postponed until the fall. The venue, the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, is closed until further notice. The new date will be communicated as soon as possible.
Study "Veteran vehicles in Switzerland" to be presented later
The completed study "Veteran vehicles in Switzerland" should have been presented at this delegates' meeting. The pleasing and highly interesting results of this comprehensive study have lost none of their topicality and will therefore only be published when the necessary interest is once again present. At the moment, more important topics are in the foreground.
Historic Vehicle Days victims of the pandemic
The Historic Vehicle Days weekend in Switzerland on April 25/26, 2020, will also largely fall victim to the pandemic. The major events on the last weekend in April have been canceled. Individual trips by small groups are likely to be possible. The SHVF website will provide regular updates on the current status.
No FIVA ID cards
In order not to expose vehicle owners, mechanics and inspectors to unnecessary risks, inspections of vehicles to obtain a FIVA-ID-CARD will be stopped with immediate effect. Existing applications will be processed as far as possible.
