In 2019, Lebenshilfe Giessen's already well-known classic car donation campaign had two reasons to celebrate: it turned 25 years old and Lebenshilfe Giessen celebrated its sixtieth anniversary.
In fact, Lebenshilfe Gießen has been providing care and support for people with disabilities for 60 years. And for 25 years, many classic car fans have been helping to realize numerous projects such as residential homes, workshops, kindergartens and schools with their donations as part of the classic car donation campaign.
Günther Jauch as supporter/patron
There is once again prominent support for the current classic car fundraising campaign: TV presenter Günther Jauch drove his 180 Mercedes through Potsdam for a few years until he parted with his showpiece for a good cause.
Now you can win it, the elegant classic with the large folding roof.
More great classics to win
The first prize is flanked by other icons of automotive history: two English cars that could not be more different are also in the program, a Bentley T1, a dignified chauffeur vehicle including a partition to the rear, and a golden Jaguar MK II, a luxurious classic.
An Innocenti Mini-Cooper 1300 radiates Italian temperament and liveliness.
Those who prefer daily drivers in the classic car segment are spoiled for choice. For fresh air fans, there's a strawberry basket, a Golf I Cabriolet in "almost new condition".
Things get sportier in the bright green dog bone, a Ford Escort MK I, while the 525 BMW is brisk but dignified.
The Peugeot 205 GTI in rally trim is sporty on the road.
For two-wheeler fans, there's a Victoria, affectionately known as Vicki, from the fifties.
Chance to win including a charitable donation
You can take part with just five euros!
You can simply transfer the amount of your choice to the donation account at Sparkasse Gießen, IBAN DE38 5135 0025 0200 6260 00, BIC SKGIDE5FXXX by January 20, 2020, and of course don't forget your name and address so that you can be entered into the prize draw.
The proceeds from this year's fundraising campaign will go towards the renovation and furnishing of 50 places in our Nordeck children's and youth welfare facility in the district of Giessen! Numerous projects for people with disabilities and mental illness have already been realized in recent years thanks to a wide range of committed support.
Further information can be found on the fundraising campaign website.
