From March 17 to 20, 2016, it's that time again: Europe's largest classic car fair - Retro Classics - will take place on around 125,000m2. And preparations are already in full swing. Around 90,000 visitors, enthusiasts and collectors of classic cars are expected and the high-class special shows promise to provide plenty of excitement.
Retro Classic 2015 was an event of superlatives: 86,738 visitors came to Stuttgart. 1,527 exhibitors, including 20% international exhibitors, presented automotive gems, historic driving culture and services relating to classic automobiles. A total of around 3,000 vehicles were on display.
Even bigger and even better
It's hard to beat, but the upcoming Retro Classic promises even more. Automotive dreams come true on around 125,000m2. Due to the strong demand, including for the vehicle sales market, the occupied area has been expanded to include the Rothaus Park. The perfect setting for international dealers of premium vehicles, restorers, providers of fashion, accessories, insurance and other services, club and special presentations as well as culinary offerings for an all-round fascinating visit to the trade fair.
Promising special shows
The special shows in particular promise many new things. These include the special show in which the Louwman Museum presents nine outstanding classic cars from the Louwman family's unique collection. Or the exhibition by French photographer Jean-Pierre Hossann entitled "Lost Beauties", in which he presents photographs of automotive legends that have lain undiscovered for decades under the moss in the dense foliage of the French forests. In addition, Roland Asch, the brand ambassador of Retro Classics, will show his attachment to classic racing cars with the presentation of his private collection.
Other special shows such as the Design Experience, Laverda motorcycles and the history of Veritas are further highlights of the 16th Retro Classics. In addition, selected renowned Italian specialist dealers and many other Italian suppliers from the classic car sector will bring the Italian lifestyle, Dolce Vita, to life with historic driving culture in Hall 4.
