Europe's largest classic car trade fair, Retro Classics, is coming to Cologne next year as Retro Classics Cologne. It is now active throughout Germany, with additional locations in Stuttgart and Nuremberg, where Retro Classics Bavaria will be launched for the first time in December 2016.
An exhibition area of up to 60,000 square meters will be available for the first Retro Classics Cologne at the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds from 24 to 26 November 2017. Classic car fans will be able to meet numerous renowned exhibitors from all sectors. In addition to dealers, restorers and manufacturers, fans of historic vehicles and lifestyle will also find a parts market, club presentations and a vehicle sales exchange.
"Retro Classics Cologne is a real affair of the heart for me, because the Cologne location will give the Retro Classics brand, which is Europe's largest classic car trade fair, even more international appeal," commented Karl-Ulrich Herrmann, Managing Director of Retro Messen GmbH. "The greater proximity to the numerous classic car fans in Belgium, Holland, northern France and the British Isles is an important and logical step for us," Herrmann continues.
Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse, is looking forward to the new theme in the trade fair program: "The classic car trade fair will be a special attraction for the Cologne location - in the middle of one of the regions with the highest purchasing power in Europe, including the Rhine and Ruhr regions as well as the neighboring countries. Koelnmesse is a springboard for the further internationalization of the event, we are easily accessible and offer the necessary space and hotel capacities in Cologne."
