The graphically stunning museum tour leads to legendary Renault models such as the 4CV, Floride, R4, R16, Espace and Twingo. The original vehicles were scanned and photographed in 3D in a specially equipped and illuminated studio. In order to make the digital icons as true to the original as possible, the experts also modeled well-hidden vehicle components in post-processing. In this way, details can be discovered during the 360-degree tour that remain undiscovered during some real museum visits.
The images are supplemented by a brief historical classification and the most important technical data. A link takes visitors from each virtual exhibit directly to "The Originals Store", where they can order their favorite model as a 1:43 scale replica.
The museum and e-shop websites are available in six languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian), with more languages to follow in the coming months. In addition, the virtual exhibition will continue to grow: another 50 models will be added from the end of December 2021, and the collection will grow to 80 digital exhibits by the end of December 2022.
