Rare & Unique Vehicles is an exciting new English language magazine published quarterly. It aims to showcase and interpret the rarest and most unique vehicles from the world of classic cars.
The little ones big time
Each issue features a central theme, followed by some anniversaries and a "Spin the Globe" section, which showcases unusual and exciting cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses and other vehicles from around the world.
The second issue has just been published.
The central theme is "Deminuitive", i.e. small or tiny. There are 26 articles with the following content:
- The history of Grade, a small car derived from airplane design - Czechoslovakian pedal cars from the twenties
- Mini cars from Shanghai
- Japanese kei cars from the fifties
- Microcars from Hungary from the post-war period
- A driving report on the last Quasar Unipower built
- And more...
The first issue was received with a lot of positive feedback from readers.
Preview of what's to come
In the second issue you can also read about a Soviet minivan with a plastic body, the centenary of Harper Runabout, the history of Zelensis in Belgium, the Art Deco Majestic motorcycle and more.
The magazine is available in digital form in the Readly app. The paper magazine will be published on March 26, 2021.
Upcoming issues will include pre-war special bodies, custom-built vehicles and vehicles with alternative drive systems.
